PADI Open Water Instructor Development Course (IDC)

Your goal is to become a fully qualified Open Water Scuba Diving Instructor; our goal is to ensure that you achieve this in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will treat you as an individual, building on your strengths whilst identifying any weaknesses, to enable you to reach your ultimate goal. As a dive centre owner for over 15 years a valuable insight into how the actual Industry works is provided. We don’t just teach people how to pass exams; a comprehensive insight into working as an Instructor or Dive Centre owner is provided, with career advice. We are passionate and care about our industry, working full time in it. The course will further expand your knowledge, developing skills in the classroom, confined water and open water.

Instructor Development Preparation Course

Preparation is the key to success and a fun IDC. This is the Scuba Review at Instructor level. Stress is not included in your course; it is something that you personally choose to bring to it by not being fully prepared. We will meet with you to discuss the expectations of the course and how to prepare yourself. A review of all your skills in confined water; tuition in theory subjects and rescue evaluation are included. No charge is made for this invaluable experience that only comes from a Course Director who owns a Dive Centre and works full-time within the Industry.

PADI Assistant Instructor (AI)

As a PADI Assistant Instructor, you will gain experience as a PADI professional, enabling you to act as an instructional assistant with actual teaching responsibilities. The course is the first step into gaining experience, which leads you into the Open Water Scuba Instructor Course. A fun course that will develop your teaching skills through knowledge development presentations, confined water skill reviews, open water presentations and rescue assessment.

Career Development

Owning a Dive centre has given me valuable experience in training, retail sales, marketing and employment of staff. This is passed onto you increasing your self esteem; giving you the confidence to market yourself effectively as a role model to the Industry. Advice on your curriculum vitae and social media marketing are discussed in relation to gaining employment. No charge is made for this invaluable service that only over 20 years of experience can provide.

Emergency First Response (EFRI) & Care for Children Instructor (CFCI)

We focus on developing your Instructional ability to teach the skills of the course to others. A fun and relaxed methodology is used to cover the specific goals of the EFR and CFC courses. Motivation, evaluation and hands on skills practice enhance your personnel experience.

First Aid at Work Instructor

Enabling you to enter the massive market of Health and Safety related courses, we focus on building your confidence whilst learning how to deliver a fun and informative first aid courses

PADI IDC Staff Instructor

Relaxed, very informative, full of fun with a psychological insight into how and when people learn best. The course enables you further your career possibilities as you become qualified to assist on IDC’s and to teach the Assistant Instructor course. You will gain in-depth Instructor trainer knowledge and career advice towards the ultimate goal of Course Director from one of PADI’s most established Course Directors.

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)

Now this is fun, let’s go diving. Become qualified to teach specialities in the areas that you are passionate about. Advice is provided on marketing and tuition is available with hints and tips on how to conduct the courses. Five specialities are included but they are all available from Aware Fish ID through to Wreck.
